Membership Agreement

By signing up for an account with CanIBorrowIt.net (the "Website") you agree to be bound by a Member Agreement ("Agreement"). This Agreement, dated May 15, 2024, is made by and between Borrow It, LLC, (hereafter known as "Company" or "we") and you.

We agree to provide a platform by which you can connect with your friends and, through those connections, allow people who are friends to see items uploaded into each other’s digital "closets".

You agree to use the Website to create a pleasant and enjoyable experience for you and your friends. You agree to lend and borrow with respect for your friend’s belongings, and to take the utmost care to attempt to return them in the same condition. You must use the Website and its content for lawful purposes only. Harassment, fraud, and/or illegal use of the Website are grounds for immediate account termination and legal action where applicable.

The User agrees and accepts full responsibility for their use of the website, including the items they upload, who they permit within their friend circle, and who they conduct transactions with. You agree to settle any transaction disputes directly with your friends, outside of the Website. The Company is not liable for transactions that do not go as planned, nor do we provide moderation between users when there is a transaction dispute.

Borrow It, LLC, retains all ownership and intellectual property rights to the Website content and materials. Users retain ownership of all items listed in their own individual closets. We may, on occasion, use uploaded photos of items in your closet in promotional advertisements; however, we will not link the photos to your account in a way that would allow non-friends to see your items without your consent.

Both the User and the Company agree to the full Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Disclaimer found on the Website. Use of the Website automatically implies agreement and adherence to these policies, whether or not You have read them in full.

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Florida, regardless of the conflict of laws principles thereof.
